Week of December 16th

What's Weird ATX

These weird warm winter days - they throw you for a loop, like seeing Christmas lights while folks are in shorts, or catching both the smell of barbecue and pine needles in the air.

The fruit trees and mosquitos are super confused. My pomegranate tree has two stragglers that came in super late. It’s funny to need both a sweater and shorts in one day.

Anyway, it’s definitely making for some magical Austin holiday evenings. Don’t forget to checkout the 37th street lights this week, and if you have last minute Christmas shopping to do, please consider supporting local Austin businesses! Here is a fantastic local gift guide by our friends over at Austin Business Review where you can find all sorts of amazing treats :)
