What's Weird ATX
Sorry for the newsletter being a little late this week! Been feeling a lil under the weather. I’ve heard lots of us are stuck at home recovering from something or other… Also sounds like the Cedar is hitting a lot of us hard. But don’t let that deter you, there’s a lot of Austin awesomeness this week!
As usual, Austin empties out a little bit during this time of year. So if you’re still here, it’s a perfect time to visit any restaurants / bars that are usually too crowded! They will definitely appreciate the business as well.
In general Austin news, the new HEB finally opened on Congress & Oltorf. It’s absolutely gorgeous, but traffic gets pretty dicey as you approach it. Factor in like an extra 5 mins to get in and out of there.
Trail of Lights opens on Tuesday, and it’s probably mostly responsible for Austin’s crown as the most festive city in the country, third year in a row! Hit it up for opening night tomorrow, it’s FREE!
Did someone forward this to you? If so, sign up here!
Do you know someone who would appreciate this newsletter? Or, someone who needs to do something other than work and sleep? Forward this email to them!
