Hey y’all! Hope everyone’s had enough valentine stuff— last week was a little too lovey-dovey if you ask me. I’m ready to get back to just some weirdness…
OUTsider Fest starts on Wednesday and goes through the weekend. It’s a great way to support the performing arts in Austin.
And now for some general musings about the past week:
Texas Senate has proposed injecting nearly 500 million in funding to incentivize film here. The film industry is stunned!
Austin Marathon went down without a hitch, and with a special appearance from the ASSMAN himself.
One of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded in the state (5.0 magnitude) happened in West Texas, near Toyah.
In other West Texas news, they’re also having a measles outbreak that is worsening….
UT researchers are reportedly looking into why wireless earbuds have such short battery life.
