Week of September 23

What's Weird ATX

It’s my birthday week! Luckily for me, there are all sorts of amazing things going on this week so I can celebrate in style. And this weekend is particularly caffeinated!

I have one wish— it’s HAAM day tomorrow, and as some of you may know I am a musician here in Austin. This town’s musicians and artists mean a lot to me, and it would be great if you can go out and support them! I made something special on WhatsGoodATX for the occasion so you can easily find the kind of music you like — search by genre or vibe or whatever. Find a show or two and become a fan of someone local!

A little housekeeping:

  • If you’re on there, follow us on Instagram for Austin memes (our first is at the bottom of the email!) and more up-to-the-minute updates. We are very new on there and could use the support. Also, I often find out about stuff during the week and want to let y’all know!

  • Some friends told us they missed our email last week and it seems Gmail may have put it in the Promotions inbox. If you use Gmail, click here to add us to your contacts so you never miss an email!

OK, let’s get to it!
